The Wake Up Call

Bella wakes up each morning with a smile on her face. I don't know if most babies do that or not. But, it amazes Chris and I each day. She's been waking up around 6 am and wiggles a little bit, then lets out a loud sigh.

Chris and I laugh then tell her, "Bella you're such a little tinker, we love you."

Her Smile Is What We Live For

Yesterday afternoon Chris and I went to church then back home to meet Erica to go over Kate's going away party. We took a few photo's from that afternoon. She looked so darn cute!!! I can't believe how much she's grown up.

Having her here at our home is such a magical experience and it brings a sense of sweetness to every room.

Bella's Baptism

Bella was Baptized in Hondo, Texas on January 3, 2009 at the home of her great-grandmother Mary Alice Eckhart or also known as "Oma."

All of Bella's grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends were in Hondo to witness this very special event. Bella was dressed in her great-great grandmother Murphy's Christening gown. She also wore my baby James Avery Necklace and of course white Ruffled Panties from Nordstroms!

The Baptism was scheduled to begin at St. John's Church in Hondo. However, the priest had a last minute emergency and we had to do the Baptism at Oma's house. It was a little shocking at first. But, there wasn't any other place where Chris and I would have wanted to have her Baptized. She looked so pretty and precious that day! That day will always be remembered.

I meant to begin this blog before Bella was born but I was way too busy before her arrival. Then I said I would do it again once she was born and that didn't happen either. So, now she's four and half months and I'm finally doing it.
