Bella just loves staying with Mrs. Patsy and the kiddo's.
Chris and I weren't sure if we were able to leave our little girl with some one other than family. But, we've had a wonderful experience with Patsy and don't know what we would do without her.
It's so good to know she's loved and taken care of throughout the day, and already she has great social skills. Patsy teaches Bella new things and shows a lot of compassion for our little girl. Thanks Patsy for all you do! We love that YOU love baby Bella.

Our Little Valentine

This year our Valentines Day was celebrated with a "Bella Box of Chocolates." Last week Chris, Mom, Bella and I went and had Bella's 5 month old picture taken at a local studio. While we were there we couldn't resist from getting her Valentines Day photo taken too.
However, Valentines Day wasn't as nice as we would have liked. "Shi-Shi" went back home to Texas. Each time she visits she helps us out so much. She cooks, cleans, changes diapers not to mention keeps Bella entertained. We love when "Shi-Shi" comes to visit and can't wait until she comes back.
Hopefully, Shi-Shi and Popi will be back in March to take a trip to Sedona with us.

Shi Shi
You might be asking yourself two questions by now:
1. "What in the world is a Shi Shi?"
2. "How did you come up with that ridiculous name?"
Sounds bizarre doesn't it?
It's actually what we've decided Bella will call my mom (Janet). At least for now.
When I was pregnant with Bella--Chris, Dad, Mom and myself were talking over dinner one night about what grandma and grandpa Bradley would call themselves.
Dad (Miles) would be named Popi.
Chris' parents already had grandparent names: Popo and Nana. But, what about Janet?
We shouted out a few names: Grannie, Na-na, etc. But, then mom randomly yelled, "Shi-Shi!"
All four of us chuckled then busted out laughing.
We all thought it was the most hilarious name we had ever heard. But, to our surprise we kept saying it more and more and more and more.
Finally, the name "Shi-Shi" stuck.

This weekend my mom flew in from Texas and boy did Bella get a treat. Not only was she the center of her "Shi Shi's" attention, but she was also the highlight of our weekend--- Bella had her first in studio photo session. Above are some of the photo's from that afternoon.

Okay Seriously
In the words of Kate Davis, "This next story is definitely bloggable".
Earlier this week I was out prospecting for new television clients when I decided to stop by one of Tucson's largest staffing firms. The firm was located on the 6th floor in the Williams Center when a grown man in his early 30's walked in the elevator behind me.
To my surprise the man was wearing pajamas and huge house slippers.
"What," I exclaimed!
"Was this a joke?"
It was 1 o'clock in the afternoon and he was wearing p.j.'s.
"Seriously, who does this kind of stuff!"
Finally, the man got off on the 6th floor and entered an insurance company and I went on my way all the while thinking this is something I have to blog about.

5 Months
Exactly 5 months ago today at 11:32pm our little Bella entered the world.
At 5 months she coo's and loves rolling on the floor. She eats solid foods and loves green peas, and prunes. Of course she loves to eat, so does her mama!
She has been such a good baby. Bella smiles all the time and at church on Sunday she impressed everyone with her little blue jean outfit from Mrs. Patsy her favorite sitter in the entire world. However, I think the huge white bow really got there attention.
One lady told me, "Oh, you have such a cute little boy!" I thought, "Lady she has a bow in her hair and is wearing a dress, not to mention black little slippers."
Finally I stated, "She's actually a little girl!" Guess that means my mom and and I need to take Bella to get her ears pierced soon. I'm guessing when mom flies into Tucson next week we need to take the little stinker to get her ears pierced. Chris and I can't bare to go by ourselves. Someone will have to hold our hands!

What A Weekend
Great-great aunt Arlene, Pauline, Shirley and cousin Margie came in on Saturday to meet Bella. She really enjoyed them and laughed a lot. After lunch we drove down to Tubac and went shopping. Bella loved being outside going to all the shops and it was a beautiful day in southern Arizona to be outside.
It was such a joy for them to meet Bella and again we're blessed to have such wonderful relatives!
