Once Chris and I found out we were having a girl. I immediately started my search for the name of our little girl.
Time and again, I announced a few names to Chris. And, time and again Chris said no, no way, and hell no to the majority of names I came across.
We went weeks coming up with names. Contemplating hundreds of girl names.
Finally, in a loving and gentle voice my tongue released the most beautiful word that came to mind.
"Bella"
Chris blurted out, "Okay Bella it is."
Over the course of a few months my hair stylist along with ladies from work all asked if I had seen the movie Twilight or read the books authored by Stephanie Meyer.
Time and again I answered, "No, why should I."
All of them answered, "Because the main character's name is Bella."
Well, from there on I was hooked.
I've watched the movie and hundred times now and finished the last of the Twilight Saga, "Breaking Dawn" this evening.
Now, I have a serious obsession with Twilight. Not only because 'Bella" is the main character and in love with a gorgeous vampire, but because it really is a terrific read and its an emotional journey that will keep you wanting more.

Firsts
Already, at 7.5 months Bella has had many firsts.
Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Valentines and now Easter. Our little Be Be Easter morning was so precious. She was a delight to be around.
Cheerful and and glowing.
Chris and I went to mass at 9am at our Church. She was again the spotlight of 9:00 am mass. Each hymn the choir sung was accompanied by Bella's ooooh's and ahhhhh's.
We tried to quiet her down. But, each time we do she raises her voice even more so that the Lord and everyone around her can hear her.
After mass, so many parishioners greeted us. They wanted to pinch those cute little legs and cheeks. "Your baby smiles so much," one of them added.
Another astonished by her voice, "She likes to sing doesn't she."
Later that afternoon, we had lunch reservations at Agave. Once we were seated we never saw her again---I mean that literally.
The waitresses passed her around like the offering plate from Church. Again, just too cute to imagine.
