Shop Til' We Drop

Bella and I took the grandmothers for a shopping extravaganza to La Encantada. We had lunch at Blanco, bought way to many clothes at Gymboree and then ended the day with Gelato. The child has been named by the grandmothers as the "world traveler." I don't know who had more fun: Bella or Shi Shi and Nana???

9 Month Check-up

Bella had her 9 month check up with her favorite pediatrician Dr. Beth Sacrison. Bella weighed in at a whopping 23 pounds!!

What can I say, "She loves to eat like her mama."

Summer Time

Summer time is here in southern Arizona. This week we're expected to hit triple digit temperatures and that means more time in the pool not to mention some vacation time with our loved ones.

Bella is now mobile. She's crawling like crazy and won't sit still. She loves to hold our hands and walk along side with her. Mom and Dad have come out for a few visits and Nana (Chris' mom) came out last week to get a little one on one Bella time.

Last week Shi Shi, Nana and Bella traveled back to Texas. Meaning, Chris and I are childless for 2 weeks. The two of us are beside ourselves. Our little girl though is having a blast with her Shi Shi and Popi on the ranch and has yet to even wonder, "Where is mommy and daddy?"

I'm flying out to Texas on the 26th of this month to pick up my little Be Be. We'll spend the fourth of July on the Frio and I can't wait to see how much she's grown!

Our Little Swimmer

Bella loves swimming. Shi Shi bought her three bathing suits already. Can we say spoiled?

While Mom and Dad were here visiting us over the past month Mom gave Bella a few swimming lessons. Afterall, my mom used to be a certified lifeguard. Mom loved teaching Bella a few of her swim techniques, but I doubt any of it will really sink in considering she's just 9.5 months. But, hey if it gives mom a little high then what the heck.
